This plant is a smaller variety of the Rotala species, with compact growth and vibrant foliage.
The leaves of Rotala sp. mini “gold” are narrow and slightly curled, giving it a delicate appearance. When grown under the right conditions, this plant will produce a vibrant gold color that can be quite striking in a planted aquarium. The coloration can vary depending on the light and nutrient levels, but with sufficient light and nutrients, it will maintain its gold coloration.
It is adaptable to a range of aquarium conditions but prefers moderate to high lighting and CO2 injection.
